Just throwing a quick post out there that we are selling our canoe. It is a Swift Algonquin 16. It is a Kevlar/fibre glass compound (what Swift Canoe and Kayak call Guide Fusion). It weighs a total of 62 pounds, is 16 feet long with a symmetrical desgin. It handles great, is extremely stable, and turns very easily. I think altogether it has touched the water 15 times in the last two years so it is practically brand new!! The reason why we are selling it is because it is just a little too heavy for me to bring on those week long trips with 2000+ metre long portages.
Selling price is $1,200 obo.

I wouldn't mind having a canoe, but I have no place to store it and no way to transport it.
